Celebrate the Honey Bees

Have you been enjoying fresh fruits and vegetables all summer? We should give thanks to the honey bee for all the hard work she does to make sure we have healthy, wholesome food to eat.

Unfortunately, something is going on that hurts the honey bees. Some think it is parasites like varroa mites or a virus. Others think it is pesticides like neonicotinoids. Many think it is a combination of all these things. Regardless, honey bees are in trouble and research is being done now to find a way to help them recover. Honey Candles wants to help and you can be part of it. For each Honey Candles® beeswax Peek-a-Bee Pillar you buy, Honey Candles through our Save the Bees program will donate $2.00 to help fund the important research that needs to be done to head off the demise of honey bees. When a Peek-a-Bee is sold in the US $2.00 will go to the Foundation for the Preservation of the Honey Bee located in Georgia. In Canada $2.00 will be forwarded to the Save our Bees campaign at the Canadian Honey Council. In both circumstances the donations are earmarked for honey bee research.

Honey Candles is giving you an opportunity to be a part of the solution and enjoy a beautiful beeswax candle at the same time. Go to our link now to find out more about Honey Candles® pure beeswax Peek-a-Bee Pillars.
