Letter from a Beeswax Candle Lover

I received this letter sometime in November in response to my follow up letter with Maria, a retail customer in Sherwood Park who had purchased beeswax candles from our on-line store. We often get letters from happy customers, however this letter was special. I was so thrilled with what she had to say I shared it with our busy candle makers in the shop and now I want to share it with you, our blog readers!

Hi Pat,

I did receive my candles and they are lovely.

My parents discovered you while on vacation in BC.  They brought one home for me as a gift.  I have never seen anything quite like them.  I am a candle burner and have used most of them at one time or another;-)  I have mostly used beeswax candles because I don’t care for the chemical smell of paraffin and soy, often, making my own.  I have never seen anything quite like yours.  They are wonderfully fresh and age beautifully.  They burn cleanly with no sparks and little to no smoke when properly tended.

I have been able to get some here in Edmonton, however, the colored votives are harder to get.  I can imagine the difficulty for a shop to stock them all.  I wanted a specific one so I placed an order.  I do go through them and sometimes give them as gifts for special people as someone else might give wine.  Only people I know well, where the candle will be fully appreciated.

Thank you for your time and effort in making these candles.  They are worth looking for!

Sincerely,

Maria

This is the nicest letter and it warmed the collective Honey Candles® heart. Thank you, Maria. May Honey Candles always grace your home.  I let her know you can find more colored votives in Edmonton at Planet Organic at the south location. Now you know too!

Merry Christmas!
