The candle makers at Honey Candles pour pure beeswax into molds to make beeswax available to those who love to make their own natural body care products. More and more people are into DIY and we are seeing a huge increase in sales of beeswax blocks. We have 1 pound blocks of natural as well as 1.5 ounce and 2.5 ounce medallions. Because of the demand a few years ago we decided to make a bigger block, 1.8 pounds and more recently we made a 1 pound block of our Pearl beeswax. Pearl beeswax is still 100% pure beeswax that is not bleached. The pearly color is achieved through a continuation of the natural filtering process.
Body care products seem to be the biggest reason that our beeswax blocks are in demand but some of our customers are using beeswax for their crafts. Beeswax even has a place in your kitchen as a use in making some specialized pastries. Beeswax is used in encaustic art or for making Ukrainian Easter eggs.We sell an especially large number of blocks during the holiday season because people make their own natural gifts for friends and family.
