Beeswax is healthy for your home and the planet
While most candles on the market are made from artificial waxes that either pollute your home or take industrial scale processing to create, pure beeswax is 100% natural, in it’s original state. Beeswax is a great to stock up on for emergencies too because it does not go rancid or need to be temperature controlled. It is also the only natural candle wax that does not require dedicated land use to produce - it is a by-product of agricultural pollination and honey collection. Beeswax stands out from other natural waxes like soy wax because it is firm enough to stand on its own, it doesn’t require chemical additives, wax blending or a container to hold its shape. This means beeswax candles burn cleaner and they come in low or no-waste options.
Beeswax burns long and bright
Beeswax is a naturally long burning wax. Some waxes require additives or chemical processing to increase their burn times, but pure beeswax burns longer and hotter than other waxes without needing additives. Additionally, the light emitted by burning beeswax is a calm golden colour that provides ample lighting while being gentle on the eyes.
Beeswax has a natural honey aroma that is easy on the senses
Beeswax is perhaps best known for its signature smell. The aroma is a soft honey scent that is completely natural and does not require the addition of artificial fragrances. We regularly hear from customers who are sensitive to artificial scents telling us that that not only are they able to burn our candles without irritation, they love the gentle honey aroma and it even soothes their symptoms.
